RUGBY WORLD CUP

RUGBY WORLD CUP

Alright, alright. .. . it's true.... neither Alex or I are the biggest rugby union followers but when it comes to the World Cup and living in another country that all changes.

We were invited to

AUSTRALIA VS ENGLAND
Alex with a young fellow we met from Brisbane who is in Israel doing his military service.  Alex walked up to him and said, "Are you from Brisbane," which freaked the guy out a bit because he is.  Alex claims he can pick someone from Brissy.
Alex making friends after Australia's victory. David, on the left was in a deep depression, while Peter the Scot,
to his right, was more than happy about Australia beating Scotland. The woman, whose name has escaped me, was a friendly Israeli woman who loves her Guinness.

Alex with some very depressed English supporters.

AUSTRALIA VS SCOTLAND

Our wonderful Scottish friends, Kenny & Ali Roger and their three children, Emily, Benjamin and Callum, kindly opened their home to us for the Australia vs Scotland game.  Fortunately, we're all still on speaking terms....

AUSTRALIA VS ARGENTINA

Another win for Australia in the semi-finals - 29 to 15.  Alex and I returned to Molly Blooms in Tel Aviv with Dario to watch the game.

Don't want to write about it.......
